A new phase of life has begun for them. We are talking about the seven trainees who were welcomed by our management, HR management and trainers on September 1, 2020. "I am delighted to welcome you as trainees here at POLYRACK and that you have chosen to train at POLYRACK TECH-GROUP ," said CEO Andreas Rapp. After a joint welcome and induction day, all trainees will start their careers directly in their respective departments. For the next three years, they will be trained as industrial clerks, industrial mechanics, metal technology specialists and cutting machine operators. We currently have 23 trainees and 3 dual university students at POLYRACK TECH-GROUP , which shows the importance we attach to training our own specialists. To complement its existing technology and machine park, RAPP Kunststofftechnik GmbH, a company of POLYRACK TECH-GROUP, has invested in two additional new multi-component injection molding machines from ARBURG, thereby further expanding its capacities in the 2K and 3K areas. The machines are equipped with suitable handling systems to enable automated component removal. The first customer orders are scheduled to be processed in June following the commissioning of the new machines at the headquarters in Straubenhardt. "Thanks to the latest injection molding machine technology in the multi-component sector, we can continue to implement new impulses and ideas for our customers," says Jörg Rapp, Head of Toolmaking and Plant Engineering, emphasizing the importance of the investment in machinery. 2K and 3K machines are mainly used to produce parts with high quality requirements for the components. The advantage of this is that the product can be manufactured in just one injection molding process. This means that two to three injection processes are always carried out simultaneously, resulting in maximum efficiency and consistent quality. Another special feature of the multi-component machines is the integrated mold and hot runner temperature control, which is monitored via the machine control system. Servo-controlled motors of the latest generation for the rotary movement and the pumps of the machine ensure optimum energy efficiency in each case. The plastic parts produced are then further processed with a surface finish (e.g. screen and pad printing, laser marking), depending on customer requirements, and are usually incorporated as individual parts into assemblies for various customer applications and industries.
